Bio

Jakub Bogusławski is an assistant professor at Wrocław University of Science and Technology and visiting scientist at the International Centre for Translational Eye Research (ICTER). His research interests focus on ultrafast fiber lasers and their practical applications in biophotonics, particularly in eye imaging. He aims to apply his expert knowledge in lasers and electro-optics to improve the quality of imaging instrumentation.

After obtaining a Ph.D. from Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2018, he was a post-doc at ICTER, working on in vivo two-photon excited fluorescence ophthalmoscopy. This position included many research visits to the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (USA). He also performed three research stays abroad: at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (Germany), the Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), and Aalto University (Finland), working on various types of ultrafast lasers.
