Egidijus Auksorius is a team leader at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, Vilnius, Lithuania. He received his Ph.D. degree in physics from Imperial College London for work on super-resolution STED microscopy and fluorescence lifetime imaging. He subsequently worked as a research fellow with the Harvard Medical School and the Institute Langevin in Paris on Full-Field Optical Coherence Tomography (FF-OCT). He was also a senior researcher at Polish Academy of Sciences working on applications of Fourier-domain FF-OCT to eye imaging. His current research interest includes the development and application of high-resolution FF-OCT to biomedical imaging.
